Everyone knows that to put on a show of this magnitude you need a team to ensure that everything goes as smoothly as possible. Therefore, it is necessary to understand that it is not just the athletes who must be protected, but the entire group involved.
With this in mind, the UFC will try to maintain the integrity of all its employees, reducing, as much as possible, any possibility of contagion. See what the actions will be.
For team fighters
Only combatants listed for the cards and their trainers duly registered for their presentations will be authorized to access the fight space.
Medical tests
Upon arrival at the hotel, the fighters and their respective coaches will participate in mandatory medical examinations. This process will be repeated daily while the fighters and teams remain at the hotel. Other testing details will be provided in person.
Weighing and accreditation
Teams will be informed about the weighing process and will receive access credentials, which must be used throughout the space.
Training rooms
Each fighter scheduled to perform at the UFC 249 will have an individual room for training. Mats, sterilized equipment and a personal sauna will be made available.
Hotel staff
Those responsible for cleaning the hotel will be on the premises taking additional precautions to sanitize rooms and provide services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
UFC Performance Institute available
The UFC Performance Institute will provide Trifecta nutritional and culinary support to all athletes.
The medical team present
'Performance-related issues', defined as injuries or illnesses, can be treated by on-site medical personnel.
