“The worst thing after a defeat is taking a shower. When you go to take your shower alone and memories start coming to your head all the time and you start to question yourself. After the defeat, the Brazilian began to analyze the possibilities and found something that may have influenced the way she acted against a very dangerous opponent. According to Cyborg, his training period was surrounded by moments of stress.

“I think there is something wrong when there are no problems in training. I always face problems and that motivates me. I trained for nine months for this fight and I was under a lot of stress. It's not an excuse, but I acted emotionally in this fight. It's not what I trained for. We never thought we would lose in the first round. I'll go to the end. I give my all and if they beat me, I'll still go to the end”, confessed the Brazilian.

The Curitiba native, who already won the featherweight belt on her debut, however, is not giving up on trying for a rematch, even though both are in competing companies. Last week, the Brazilian suggested a hypothesis for her current company and the UFC to hold a crossover event, which could promote a duel between the champions of the two organizations.

“It’s not a dream, it’s a plan for MMA. Do something different. A superfight between the Bellator champion and the UFC champion, Amanda nunes. I think it would help MMA a lot”, he concluded.
