In conversation with 'MMA Fighting', the next challenger for the belt had already signaled that the fight against Valentina could be postponed, but was still unaware of the reason.

“We received news last week that the fight (against Shevchenko) would be postponed. It wasn't because of that (the coronavirus pandemic), but because of something with Valentina herself. I'm not sure I could say that, but we know it definitely won't be on June 6th. I'm not sure what happened, but it was postponed. It could be a blessing in disguise,” said the Scot.
