Earlier this week, American Top Team (ATT) leader Dan Lambert created a rule so that your athletes do not provoke team members. The measure was influenced by recent attitudes of Colby covington, who publicly provoked teammates, generating some discomfort in the gym. The 'boss' request, however, was not answered by Jorge masvidal, former friend and now, self-confessed rival of 'Caos'. On his 'Twitter' account, the 'Jesus of the Streets' attacked Covington, disrespecting Lambert's request.

“F*** Colby. The most fragile and sensitive guy in UFC history. They can't kick me out, because that rule was only for wrestlers, not hook sniffers who break other hook sniffers' jaws. Everyone knows that the guy is not a fighter”, wrote Jorge.

In his text, Masvidal makes a clear provocation to Covington, who allegedly had his jaw broken during the battle against Kamaru Usman, in the dispute for the welterweight belt (up to 77kg.), in December last year, for UFC 245.

The feud between Colby and Jorge began last year, when Masvidal took his teammate's place by agreeing to perform in the main fight of the UFC 244, in November. At the time, Ultimate was negotiating with Usman and Covington to hold a title fight at the event, but financial issues prevented the fight from taking place. The 'Jesus of the Streets' then took his former friend's place and faced Nate diaz in one of the most profitable fights of 2019. This resulted in the fury of 'Caos', who declared war on his former training partner.

Since then, measures have been taken by ATT so that the welterweights do not meet at the gym, having even changed the training schedules of the two combatants.

Currently, Masvidal is the most likely athlete to face Usman for the division belt. The UFC is negotiating for the fight to take place on June 11, during 'International Fight Week'.

Fatal change? Makhachev ignores warning and could end tragically at welterweight!
