VIDEO: Renato Moicano provokes rival after submitting him at UFC Brasília and receives unusual response

O UFC Brasilia, held last Saturday (14), reached the 10th fight of the program without knockouts or submissions. Until Brazilian Renato Moicano climbed into the octagon and locked in a tight rear-naked choke on Damir Hadzović. He needed just 44 seconds to dispatch the Bosnian and even provoked his rival at the end of the fight.

Before the official announcement of his victory, Moicano addressed Hadzovic and said: 'I wish I had fought more…'. However, the Bosnian gave a surprising answer to the owner of the house. 'Then you shouldn't have finished me' (see the video below).

After Renato had his arm raised, the Brazilian continued to provoke his rival: 'He has the best jiu-jitsu in the world… He just didn't show it'.

Octagon interview

After being announced the winner, in the interview still in the octagon, Moicano justified his behavior at the end of the fight. He claimed he was frustrated having fought in his hometown without fans.

“I apologize, but I'm very frustrated because today I fought in my city and I didn't see anyone. I didn’t see anyone I know,” said Moicano, before choosing his next target.

“I'm a top 7 and people don't recognize me, but people don't respect me” before launching the challenge to Paul felder, seventh in the lightweight rankings.
