The Brazilian Jussier formiga didn't have an easy life UFC Brasilia, which took place this Saturday (14), in the Federal District. In combat against the dangerous Brandon Moreno, the Potiguar had good moments, but ended up being declared defeated in a split decision by the judges after three rounds.

The fight between Moreno and Formiga had great significance for the flyweight category (up to 56,7kg), as it was a meeting between two of the best athletes in the group. A victory could mean a chance to compete for the division title, which remains without a champion.

The fight started with an advantage for Formiga. Right at the beginning of the fight, the native of Rio Grande do Norte almost landed a guillotine choke, but gave up the attempt after Brandon's good defense. The timer has reset.

Moreno began to provoke the Brazilian, who attacked, but ended up suffering a dangerous counterattack with a direct shot to the face. Jussier tried a takedown again, but fell underneath, at a disadvantage on the ground. Formiga managed to get up, but was soon surprised by a high kick from his opponent, but he didn't land the blow. The Brazilian attempted the takedown again, but Brandon defended himself well. The fight continued to be fought on the cage until the round ended.
