the average weight Cezar Mutant overcame distrust, by being a training partner for Vitor belfort, and won the first edition of TUF Brasil. After defeating Serginho Moraes in the unanimous decision of the judges at UFC 147, an event held last Saturday (23), in Belo Horizonte, Mutante revealed that he will not leave training with his mentor.
“We have always trained (him and Belfort) together and it won’t be any different from now on. Our work has been successful and I will be with him throughout his career. I will continue to learn from him as I always have”, declared the Minas Gerais native after winning Serginho Moraes on TUF. Cezar also made a point of praising his rival in the final, who according to the TUF winner, improved his striking game a lot after the reality show.
“I made my entry into the UFC official, and the first stage of my dream was completed. Serginho showed great progress in his striking and surprised me, he toughened up the fight on the feet. He’s ready to be one of the UFC’s greats”, commented the Minas Gerais native.
