With less than a year since his Ultimate debut, Amanda ribas has already become one of the 'favorites' in Brazilian women's MMA. Born in Varginha (MG), the athlete, who is undefeated in the organization, hopes to represent the country well in the fight against Randa markos, UFC Brasilia, which takes place on March 14, in the Federal District. In an interview with 'Globoesporte.com', the Minas Gerais native spoke about her expectations for the clash.

Amanda debuted in Ultimate in June last year in a fight against emily whitmire. On that occasion, the combatant beat her rival by submission in the second round. In her second commitment, the Brazilian faced a great challenge. The athlete was chosen to face Mackenzie dern in one of the fights UFC Tampa, in October. Once again, Ribas won, this time with a unanimous decision from the judges.
Initially, the Brazilian was scheduled to face paige vanzant No. UFC Brasilia. However, the American ended up suffering an injury and was forced to withdraw from the card. In this way, Randa ended up being Paige's replacement.
With 18 fights as a professional in MMA, the Canadian will have the challenge of withstanding the pressure of the Brazilian fans, in addition to overcoming the talent of Ribas, who has not been defeated since November 2015.
At 26 years old, Amanda currently has nine appearances in MMA. The Minas Gerais team has eight victories and only one setback.
