UFC on FX 4: Maynard beats Guida on a bad night for the Brazilians

For the first time in its history, Ultimate is holding two events on consecutive days, and as a preview of UFC 147, a show that will be held this Saturday in Belo Horizonte, it took place on Friday night (22), the fourth edition of UFC on FX. With two Brazilians in the fight program, the show was not good for the Brazilian athletes. Richard Funch was completed by Dan Miller, while Luis Beição suffered his second defeat in the organization when he was knocked out by Mike Brown.

Bad night for Brazilians
The UFC on FX 4 fight program featured two Brazilians, who needed victory to rehabilitate themselves in the organization, but what we saw was not that. First Brazilian to climb into the octagon, Richard Funch fought an electrifying battle against Dan Miller, who started the contest by landing the best strikes in his striking.

In the second round, Ricardo still tried to recover, where he came out on top in the ground fight and landed some elbows, but in the third round the North American ended the dispute. First, Miller landed a powerful blow and knocked the Brazilian out. Funch continued to compete and took down Dan, but ended up caught in the guillotine and was forced to give up.

After Funch's setback, it was Luiz Beição's turn to enter the octagon. The Tupiniquim athlete started the dispute against Matt Brown well, working good striking combinations. But the American's recovery came in the second round.

Brown returned to his striking and landed the best blows. After pinning the Brazilian against the bars, he threw punches and an elbow to hurt the Brazilian's face, which he felt. Then, he applied a series of elbows, knees and punches. Beição, still standing but unable to defend himself, saw the referee interrupt the fight at 4:20.
