Valentina Shevchenko faces Joanne Calderwood for flyweight title at UFC 251

Since assuming the number one position in the division, Valentina has stated that she intends to have as many fights as possible. The athlete believes that remaining frequently within the organization promotes a greater chance of evolving as a fighter.

Against Calderwood, in addition to the belt, the champion will put a streak of five consecutive victories on the line. The athlete has not been defeated since her performance against Amanda nunes, competing for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.), held in September 2017.
