The coronavirus outbreak has been making headlines in recent months because it is a disease that has been frightening the world's population, especially those living in China and adjacent countries. Famous for being a company that operates in Asia, ONE FC took a preventive measure for the event on February 28, which takes place in Singapore, and will promote the card behind closed doors to avoid the risk of the virus spreading. The announcement was made by the organization's president, Chatri Sityodtong, on his official Facebook account.

“In light of the coronavirus situation in Singapore, I have made the decision to convert 'ONE: King of the Jungle' on 28 February to a closed event. Singapore's 'Indoor Stadium' will not be open to the general public, but the event will proceed behind closed doors as live broadcast on all TV and digital platforms in over 150 countries around the world. If you purchased tickets to attend the event, you will receive a full refund”, wrote the 'boss'.

Chatri commented that he thought about postponing the show, but, for the sake of entertainment, he decided to keep the card and allow sports fans to follow the fights, even from their homes.

“My team and I had the option to cancel the event completely, but we chose not to cancel it. More than ever, the world needs hope and strength right now. Our heroes are ready to inspire you with the best performances of their lives on February 28th. We are here to give all our fans around the world another magical night to celebrate the best of humanity”, he published.

According to Chinese health authorities, the number of deaths related to the coronoavirus exceeded 2.000, based on the balance published by 'VEJA' this Wednesday (19).
