UFC 147 takes place this Saturday (23), in Belo Horizonte, but Brazil should host the event twice more in 2012.
The organization's Director of International Business, Marshall Zelaznik, revealed during the UFC 147 press conference that Ultime is already scheduled to return to the country. In October, the UFC holds an event in Rio de Janeiro. There is still the possibility of holding another show in Brazil, in December.
The event in Rio would be the third edition of the UFC in the “Marvelous City”. In the first event, held in August 2011, the main attraction defended the Anderson Silva against Yushin Okami. In January 2012, at UFC 142, the organization returned to Rio and had as its main attraction the victory of José Aldo about Chad Mendes, maintaining his reign in the featherweight category.
