With three Brazilians on the card, they all managed to get through the last challenge before stepping into the octagon this weekend. Responsible for the co-main fight of the night, Michael Pereira, the 'Paraense Voador', had no problems landing 77,1kg. His opponent, Diego Shanchez was around 400g heavier, weighing 77,5kg.).

The Brazilian scare was caused by Raulian paiva. An athlete in the flyweight division (up to 56,7kg), the fighter was the penultimate to weigh in. After great suspense, the athlete appeared in the final minutes to confirm 57,1kg, the same weight measured by his opponent, Mark De La Rosa.

One unknown, however, involved the fight of a Brazilian. Rogerio Bontorin is scheduled to face the experienced Ray Borg in the second fight of the main card. The athlete fulfilled his commitment to the scale, scoring (57,1kg), however, the North American failed to make a cut for the fourth time, 'exceeding' the limit by almost 1kg. Borg had another hour to try to meet his goal and reach the set weight, but he failed. The fight remains confirmed and the athlete will lose 30% of his scholarship to Bontorin.
