One of the main names in Ultimate today, Kamaru Usman, ruled out any possibility of holding supercrowds while the lightweight (up to 70,3kg) and middleweight (up to 83,9kg) champions are Khabib Nurmagomedov e Israel adesanya, respectively. In an interview with 'The Joe Rogan Experience', the welterweight champion stated that he did not feel the need to face his professional colleagues in a possible dispute.

“I would never fight Khabib (Nurmagomedov). This is my brother. It's just mutual respect. I don’t see myself fighting Khabib ever,” said Kamaru.

The athlete, who is known for raising the flag of representation in his country of origin, Nigeria, also nullified the possibility of any plan to exchange forces against Adesanya, who, like him, speaks with pride about having African champions in Ultimate.

“I don’t see myself fighting Israel (Adesanya), even though a lot of people have hinted about it. I don't see myself fighting him. Having two belts in Nigeria is better than having one guy with two. There is no desire in this. That's my guy. He is special,” said Usman.

Although he shows no desire to win titles in other divisions, Kamaru can't wait to return to the Octagon to defend his belt for the second time. Apparently, the UFC is trying to confirm the battle between the athlete and Jorge masvidal.

Usman, however, is recovering from a hand injury suffered in the UFC 245, when he defeated Colby covington in his first title defense.
