Known for the versatility of his game plan, Movsar will enter the octagon to make his third appearance for Ultimate. At 25 years old, the Russian has 12 fights, winning at every opportunity, with three knockouts, four submissions and five fights decided by the judges.
More experienced, D'Silva will reach the mark of the 31st fight in his professional MMA career. Today, Tupiniquim has 26 victories, with three defeats and one fight without result. In total, Douglas has already won 19 knockouts, one submission and has six positive results according to the judges.
O UFC 248 will bring two title fights to the public. In the co-main fight, Weili Zhang, current strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg), will defend her first belt. The Chinese faces former number one, Joanna Jędrzejczyk, who seeks to regain her old position, lost in 2017 in the defeat to Rose namajunas.
The leading role in the event will be Israel adesanya e Yoel romero, who exchange forces in a fight valid for the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.). Like Zhang, this will be the Nigerian's first defense.
