Ultimate is close to making official a clash that promises to divide Brazilian fans. Mackenzie dern must face her compatriot, Ariane Sorriso, at UFC Lincoln, which takes place on April 25th. The information was released by 'Combate' and by the fighters themselves on their social networks.

In the fight, which will take place in the United States, Mackenzie, who was signed by Ultimate as a great promise for the strawweight category up to 52,1kg.), seeks to recover from her first career defeat, which occurred in October, at UFC Tampa. On that occasion, the athlete ended up defeated by Amanda ribas in the unanimous decision of the judges.
Like Dern, Ariane also seeks redemption in her career. The athlete is trying to win her first victory since making her Ultimate debut in September. In her debut, the São Paulo native ended up defeated by knockout by Angela Hill and, since then, he has been waiting for the chance to participate in a card for the organization.
At 26 years old, Mackenzie, who is considered one of the company's best jiu-jitsu representatives, has eight fights and seven wins since debuting as a professional in MMA.
At 27, Sorriso will be making his 15th appearance. The fighter has 12 victories and two defeats so far.
At the April event, athletes will join Glover Teixeira as representatives of Brazil. The Sobrália miner heads the event in combat against Anthony Smith and is looking for a victory to try to get closer to another fight for the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg.).
