Light weight (up to 70,3kg.) Kevin Lee prepares for a tough commitment in his career. Escalated to face Charles of the Bronx in the main fight of UFC Brasilia, on March 14, the North American hopes for a good victory over one of the most charismatic Brazilian athletes today. In an interview with 'MMA Junkie', the fighter promised to 'throw a bucket of cold water' to those who are supporting the São Paulo native.

“I like being the spoilsport”. I'll make sure I shut up all the Brazilians, and that arena will be very, very quiet at the end of the night. Sometimes that's what I like to do. I like to steal a little thunder. I feel like I silenced Madison Square Garden in my last fight and I'm going to silence this gym too,” said the lightweight.

In addition to facing the fanatical Brazilian public, to defeat Charles, Kevin will have to overcome a fighter who hasn't lost in six fights. The São Paulo native is on an impressive winning streak, which ended up placing him in 13th place in the category ranking.

Even though he is aware of his opponent's recent positive record, Kevin states that Charles has never faced an elite opponent in Ultimate. For the North American, the Tupiniquim will feel the pressure of sharing the octagon with a higher quality fighter.

“I don't think he's ready for that level yet. I don't believe he has fought at this level, especially in a main event like this. So, I think things weigh in my favor”, he concluded.

Both Lee and Charles are coming off career victories. While the North American defeated Gregor Gillespie in a devastating way in his last commitment (in November, at least UFC 244), the Brazilian is not left behind. Charles comes from a great presentation, when, in the UFC Sao Paulo, dealt a hard knockout to Jared gordon.
