With just over 20 days left until the most anticipated fight of the year, the duel between Chael Sonnen e Anderson Silva may not happen. In an interview with the American channel Fuel TV, the Englishman Michael Bisping revealed that he received a private message from Sonnen stating that they would face each other soon.

“To be honest, private messages are personal and I think it would be inappropriate to disclose this information. But since when did I only do the right thing? So here we have the message: 'So, man. Let me guess. You're not hurt and we're going to fight again. If I'm right, clue me in on Twitter, including the word boy' – revealed Bisping, showing his cell phone.

Despite being vehemently denied by UFC president Dana White, rumors emerged on the internet last week that pointed to an injury to Anderson Silva during training, which would force the cancellation of the long-awaited rematch.

As a result, Bisping would be called up to replace Anderson and face Sonnen in the main fight of UFC 148, an event scheduled for July 7, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
