After a big win at UFC Raleigh, Herbert Burns projects a great future in the UFC: 'I want to make some noise'

the dreams of Herbert Burns have become reality. After a great performance at UFC Raleigh, which took place last Saturday (25), the Brazilian achieved, in addition to a great victory over nate landwehr, win the performance bonus at the event. The athlete, however, wants more. In an interview with 'Combate', the Niteroi native spoke about his expectations for the future in the organization.

“The feeling of the debut was perfect. It was inexplicable. My first knockout and in an event I had been preparing for my entire career. I thought I was ready, mature, experienced, I had already had ups and downs. Getting into the event was also difficult, I had to impress Dana White twice, on 'Looking for a Fight' and on 'Contender Series'”, said Gilbert.

The athlete also said that he does not want to be just another member of the organization. The fighter stated that he has the quality to achieve greater achievements and can dream of great things in the featherweight division (up to 65,7kg.)

“And I wanted to give a message to the category, I wanted to make some noise, because I'm not a person to be left in the middle of the cake. I want to stay on top, one step at a time, for sure. And I think I made everyone stay tuned, I arrived to dominate”, he concluded.

With the triumph over Nate, Burns reached his 10th career victory. The fighter has 12 appearances as a professional in MMA.
