Not everything was rosy at the official weigh-in UFC 246, which takes place this Saturday (18), in Las Vegas (USA). Despite the protagonists of the night, Conor McGregor e Donald Cerrone having made weight and confirmed the main fight of the night, one of the fights on the main card ended up being canceled due to the failure of Alexa grasso, which would face Claudia Gadelha in one of the most important presentations of the event. The weigh-in took place on Friday afternoon.

For the main fight, there were no surprises. Donald Cerrone was the first of the 26 fighters who would perform this weekend to step on the scale. With an extroverted appearance, the North American weighed 77,1kg.
Just over 30 minutes after counting began, Conor also appeared. Calmer and visibly focused, the Irishman reached the same milestone as his opponent this weekend, confirming his presence in the show and guaranteeing his return to the sport after more than a year away.
Grasso Fault
The disappointing part was the second fight on the main card. After checking his weight and fulfilling his appointment with the scales, he was left to Claudia Gadelha, who weighed 52,4kg, awaits her opponent's weigh-in. Grasso arrived at the designated space for counting and had to take off all his clothes to try to get closer to the straw limit.
Even naked, the combatant weighed around 2,5kg. above what was allowed and, moments after the failure, it was confirmed that the athlete could not perform on the card due to security measures. Therefore, Gadelha, consequently, will also not perform for the public present at the T-Mobile Arena.
Lonely Brazilian
Without the Brazilian, the Carlos Diego Ferreira the commitment to be the only Tupiniquim representative on the card. The fighter, who is facing a UFC icon, had no problems reaching the limit of the lightweight division.
Diego's opponent, Anthony Pettis marked the same value set by the Amazonian, 70,5kg. The two will appear in the first fight of the main card.
