Walker blames former coach for loss to Corey Anderson: 'It stressed me out the week of the fight”

“I don't accept defeat, because I know I can beat him (Corey anderson). I had a problem during the fight. A problem during combat week. I had stress with my team. So, I learned a lot and it won't happen again. I will no longer train with my last coach because the problem is with him”, declared the Brazilian.

Without specifying the disagreement, Walker, who did not expose who was responsible for the incident, spoke again about how much the incident directly influenced his performance against Corey.

“During the fight week, he (coach) stressed me twice and before the duel (too). He almost hurt my shoulder because he didn't know how to hold the trimmer correctly. We didn't match up very well during fight week. For a long time, I started to have this, you know, because we live together, also about respect. Some things are not being fulfilled. So now I don't have a coach. And I’m ready to start again,” he concluded.

  1. The truth is that he came in thinking he was full of confidence, he got screwed and now he's making an excuse. It could be that he will be in the top 5. But starting to justify defeat is already too much.
