Featherweight Mike Chiesa is the winner of the 15th season of The Ultimate Fighter, the UFC reality show, in the United States. But someone who was also able to celebrate at the event held this Friday in Las Vegas is the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. The Tupiniquim athlete faced the tough Jonathan Brookins, and after a balanced first round, he ended the dispute with a beautiful triangle hand in the second round.

Known for his sharp jiu-jitsu, Charles showed progress in his stand-up game. The Brazilian started the fight by exchanging well with Brookins and connecting with good punches. In the second round, the American landed a good cross and tried to end the stage with a standing guillotine. But “from the Bronx” took the fight to the ground, got rid of the blow and soon took guard. From then on, Charles landed a fair triangle hand and forced Jonathan to give up the fight.
Kampmann wins and is close to the belt
In the main fight of the night, Martin Kampmann suffered a lot in the first round with good strikes Jake ellenberger. However, in the second round, the Dane managed to land a powerful knee and ended the dispute.
With the result, Kampmann establishes himself as one of the UFC's top welterweights, putting him close to a title shot.
Cristiano Marcello loses on debut
A member of the TUF house, Cristiano Marcello was considered one of the favorites to win the reality show. But after being eliminated from the contest, he got a new chance in the UFC, but he was unable to take advantage. Before Sam Sicilia, also a TUF participant, the Brazilian was unable to find his way into his opponent's striking in the first round, suffering hard blows.
In the second round, Cristiano returned more attentive and managed to balance the dispute in the striking, but with a left cross, followed by a knee, Sicilia took down the black belt and won by technical knockout.
