“Well, it didn’t go as planned in South Korea, but we must win like men and lose too. I take my hat off to the Korean zombie in his great performance. I think maybe it's time to cut that damn hair”, joked Frankie, who took the opportunity to thank her family, fans and friends for their support. “Thank you to my family, team and fans for the love and support,” he concluded.
Edgar agreed to face the South Korean with two weeks of preparation for the confrontation. The athlete replaced his compatriot Brian ortega, who suffered an injury and was unable to perform.
Frankie changed his training plans and withdrew from the match in which he would finally make his debut in the lower division, at the end of January.

With the victory over the North American, Chan once again entered the featherweight elite and got closer to a title fight soon. The athlete finished 2019 on a great note and is now waiting for a chance to challenge the new champion, Alexander Volkanovsky.
Well not what I had planned coming out here to South Korea, but win like a man and lose like one too. Hats off to the @KoreanZombie on a great performance. I think it may be time to cut this damn hair. Thank you to my family, team, and fans for the love and support. #Faith
