After Wanderlei Silva consider that the injury suffered by Vitor belfort could be an excuse to postpone the rematch, the “Phenomenon” made a point of resolving any doubts about this matter. Through his Twitter account, Belfort showed a photo of his left hand, which underwent a surgical process this Tuesday (29).
“Here are the first photos of me changing the bandages…” wrote the athlete, showing off a metal hook in his hand, which is used to keep the bones in place during the calcification process.

Due to Belfort's injury, the long-awaited rematch against Wanderlei Silva, which would take place at UFC 147, on June 23, has been postponed.
