After the judges' decision, which declared the victory of the Pole, the Brazilian, in a collective, disagreed with the position of the evaluators, who, in the majority, chose Jan as the winner.

“I will definitely come out of this fight stronger. I caught a super top guy, in my first light heavyweight fight. A guy who just knocked out the Luke Rockhold, former champion (middleweight, up to 83,9 kg.), a guy who had been knocking out everyone and I had a five-round fight with him. I won, but, unfortunately, I didn’t take it”, declared the Espírito Santo.

The setback for Blachowicz declared Ronaldo's second consecutive victory in Ultimate. The Brazilian's last victory came in November last year, when, in a spectacular comeback, he delivered a brutal knockout over the former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman.

Ronaldo is going through an unstable period within the company. after the UFC Sao Paulo, Espírito Santo suffered its fifth defeat in its last 10 appearances.

The fighter, who turns 40 at the beginning of December, stated that he intends to return home and will think about the next step in his career, which has already lasted 16 years.
