The BRAVE middleweight category will finally have a champion crowned on December 7th. On that date, Brazilian Daniel “Gaúcho” Souza will go to South Africa to face home athlete Chad Hanekom, in the main fight of BRAVE 31.

Gaúcho, whose professional record is eight wins and two losses, comes from an overwhelming victory over Bruno Assis last August, in Brazil. The CM System athlete comes from four consecutive victories and has 75% of his victories by knockout or submission.
Gaucho's opponent, Chad Hanekom, is one of the most popular names in South African mixed martial arts. Richie Quan's pupil, “Superman” comes from two consecutive victories and will count on the support of the local fans to win the historic title for South Africa.
BRAVE 31 takes place on December 7th, in Durban, South Africa. In addition to the main fight between Gaúcho and Hanekom, valid for the inaugural middleweight title, the event, which marks the organization's return to the country after a year, will feature other big South African names at the event, such as Dansheel Moodley, Nkosi Ndebele, Dimitri Fogg, Mzwandile Hlongwa and Jeremy Smith.
