One of the biggest surprises of UFC 244 was the defeat of Johnny Walker for Corey anderson, in the last fight on the preliminary card of the event, held this Saturday (2), in New York. Considered one of the promises of the light heavyweight division, the Brazilian had no chance against the strength of Corey anderson, who knocked out the athlete in the first round of the fight. The president of Ultimate spoke about Walker's performance and took the opportunity to give the fighter some advice. The statement was made at a press conference after the show.

“It’s not that he did badly, but you can’t move like that when you have a Corey anderson angry as he was. You don’t play around in this sport, much less here in the UFC”, said the boss.
The Brazilian's opponent, Anderson entered the octagon with the intention of breaking the spell that many MMA enthusiasts had regarding Walker. With less than three minutes of combat, the North American managed to silence the Brazilian fans and score a brutal knockout over the athlete who had been considered one of the great promises for the future of the category.
Before stepping into the Octagon, Johnny had performed three times in Ultimate. On every occasion, the fighter achieved quick knockouts over his opponents, which gave the athlete a rapid rise in the sport and within the category.
In recent interviews, the fighter from Belford Roxo continued to show confidence in his talent, having even challenged the champion, Jon Jones on your social networks.
After Walker's defeat, Jones made a point of mocking the Brazilian's performance, saying he already imagined what would happen.
With the triumph, Anderson put himself in the front line to face the current belt owner. Next to Dominick reyes, the athlete is the one in the best position to exchange forces with the one who is considered, by many, to be the best athlete in the history of MMA.
