Fight after fight, the welterweight (up to 77kg) has shown himself to be an old-fashioned warrior in Ultimate. Regardless of the results, the athlete always puts on a real show in his commitments within the company. After being beaten by Vincent Luque and suffering an impressive broken nose, which disfigured his face, the athlete returns to the octagon against Geoff Neil, in the UFC 245, which takes place on December 14th. The information was released by the athlete himself this Thursday (31), on his official Twitter account.

“Did you see which fight was added to the UFC 245? Mike Perry against Geoff neal. I met with Geoff at UFC Tampa (October 12), recently. He seems like a nice guy. Maybe even too cool”, declared the North American.

On his Instagram account, Perry made a point of starting to tease his next opponent. The athlete showed confidence in victory.

Perry returns to the octagon after being defeated by the Brazilian Vincent Luque in one of the most exciting fights at UFC Uruguay, in August. After three hard-fought rounds, the North American ended up defeated by a split decision from the judges.

For his next commitment, Mike needs to win to regain his dream of being among the top 15 among welterweights. To this end, the athlete must beat an opponent who is in a great phase in his career.

Having debuted for Ultimate in February 2018, Geoff has already performed four times for the company. The fighter won on every occasion, two of them by knockout, one by submission and the other by judges' decision. His last commitment took place in July this year, when he hit Niko Price in a fight valid for UFC 240.

The duel could serve as a kickstart for Mike to get out of a troubled moment in his career. In his last six appearances, the athlete emerged victorious in just two; the last, against the Brazilian Alex Cowboy, in another good duel, which marked one of the fights at UFC Sunrise, in April.
