Social media sensation, Gabriel “Vem Tranquilo” was unable to repeat the performance of the fight that made him a meme, and ended up submitted by Naylson Oliveira with a triangle choke in the first round in his debut as a professional fighter, last Saturday, in the 20th edition of Juiz de Fora Fight, in Minas Gerais.

The duel was not a technical masterpiece, far from it. In the first movements, Gabriel lived up to the catchphrase that names him and asked his opponent for peace of mind. Then, both surrendered in open combat. Best for Naylson Oliveira, who knocked down “Vem Tranquilo” with a knee to the face and then landed a triangle to define the fight.
“It was an unforgettable feeling, it will definitely stay with me for the rest of my life. As for the result, credit to Naylson, who proved to be more prepared. There is no excuse. Now it’s time to focus on training and come back stronger. It was an incredible experience and I want to repeat it”, declared the satisfied Gabriel “Vem Tranquilo”.
In the main fight of the event, Rio de Janeiro military police officer Paulo Victor Franco submitted Diogo Justino with a katagatame in the first round and retained the middleweight belt.
