With the result, Douglas takes revenge for the setback suffered by the Canadian in January of this year, when he lost the division title in a close decision by the judges. The reunion took place in style, in the final of the division tournament, which in addition to the category title was worth the millionaire prize. After deleting Andrei Koreshkov e Michael Page, the Goiano player had a rematch against MacDonald, who had beaten Jon Fitch and Neiman Gracie.

The fight

If the first meeting between Douglas and Rory was disputed and decided in detail, in the rematch the Brazilian did not give way to bad luck and controlled the fight from start to finish.

The fight began carefully, with the athletes avoiding exposing themselves. Douglas fired two low kicks and MacDonald went down. The fight was fought in the clinch, with the Canadian in an advantageous position, unable to land a shot from Goiás.

In the second round, Douglas took the initiative. The Brazilian walked forward, combining base kicks and good hand inputs. In turn, Rory waited for the moment to counterattack, but to no avail. The Canadian even risked a takedown, which was well defended by the Brazilian.

History repeated itself in the third round. Douglas landing the best attacks while standing and MacDonald looking for a takedown, always without success.

In the fourth round, MacDonald no longer had the same mobility due to the kicks he received on his left leg. The Canadian desperately tried to take the fall and ended up throwing himself onto the ground on his back. Douglas waited for his rival to get up and connected with a good high kick.

With the fight lost, Rory went for it all or nothing in the fifth round. The Canadian even managed to take down Douglas, but the Brazilian reversed the position very well. Even from below, MacDonald threatened with two attacks on the arm, but Lima stopped well. In the final minute, Rory managed to reverse the position and stay on top. He threw punches in an almost desperate manner to turn the fight around, but was unable to pose any danger to the Brazilian athlete.

Even without an arm, Nick Newell puts up a tough fight, but loses to Manny Muro

North-American Nick Newell has been a professional since 2009, but even with 19 fights and a 10-year career, he still attracts attention. With a malformation in his right arm, he is missing half of the joint. Even so, he continues to fight at a high level.

On Saturday night, he fought a balanced duel with Manny Muro. In the first round, Newell was better, dominated the fight on the ground and came close to finishing with a guillotine choke.

In the second round, Newell, as in the previous round, had an advantage on the ground. However, he let his rival reverse his position. Muro ended up on top, striking and scoring points.

With the duel open, the third round would be responsible for deciding the winner. Muro, with better physical condition, took advantage of Newell's wear and tear to take down his rival on a few occasions and take the fight in a split decision from the judges.

Kimbo Slice's son wins with devastating knockout

Kevin Ferguson Jr, Baby Slice, son of the late Kimbo Slice, won his fourth victory as a professional. The fighter knocked down Craig Campbell with a devastating knockout. At the opening of the main card, he needed just 38 to win.

In the first few moves, Campbell attacked Ferguson's leg in search of a takedown. But he left his head exposed. Baby Slice took advantage of the opportunity and threw several elbows from top to bottom until his rival fell knocked out.
