There is no doubt that Francis Ngannou, currently, is one of the most feared men in Ultimate. Owner of enormous strength, the athlete has been collecting victims in his commitments. The athlete's convincing performances, however, have not been enough for the company to continue casting the fighter for new challenges. Impatient, the heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) criticized the UFC for its period of inactivity. The statement was made to 'TMZ'.

“I just want to tell the UFC to show some respect and get me a damn fight,” said the giant.

In his last match, Francis needed just over a minute to beat the former champion, junior gypsy, in a combat that represented the main fight of the UFC Minneapolis. On that occasion, the athletes exchanged forces on the verge of the winner being the next challenger for the title, which, at the time, belonged to Daniel Cormier.

The winds, however, turned against Ngannou. Even with a more than convincing performance against the Santa Catarina native, Sitipe Miocic's victory over DC, at UFC 241, opened the doors for a rematch between the fighters, postponing the French-Cameroonian's dream of competing again for the category belt.

Prevented from fighting for the title, Francis then began a true saga of asking Ultimate to schedule him a duel. The heavyweight was even considered to replace Cigano himself in the main fight of the UFC Moscow, as the Brazilian contracted a bacterial infection and is unable to fight. Even with the name on the agenda, the one chosen for the duel was Greg hardy.

Francis also commented on rumors of a possible confrontation against Jon Jones in the future, as the light heavyweight star (93kg.) has publicly declared his desire to do super fights. Ngannou confirmed that he is open to the confrontation, but predicts it could take time for it to occur.

"The problem is that Jon Jones It's not a heavyweight. So, it's with Jon Jones, because, as I said,

“If I would fight with Jon Jones if he moves up from heavyweight? Of course I would say the same thing as him, it's inevitable. If Jon Jones moving up to heavyweight I'll fight him. But once again, this fight isn't just a super fight. It's just not a fight you would accept because you are desperate and need a fight. This fight has to put a lot of things together”, concluded the athlete.

Currently, Ngannou is 33 years old and has 17 fights as a professional in MMA. The French-Cameroonian debuted for Ultimate in 2015 and, since then, has had 11 clashes, with nine victories; eight of them by knockout.
