The 'Triple Champion', as he likes to be called Henry Cejudo, has been swimming in the fame accumulated after his latest performances and achievements in Ultimate. Owner of two belts (fly and rooster), the combatant has publicly stated his desire to face legends of the sport, among them, José Aldo, former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.). In an interview with 'Combate', Cejudo provoked the Brazilian and questioned the manauara's ability to reach 61,2kg, the bantamweight limit.

“You need to wake up. You can't reach 61kg. I have a message for you, José Aldo. If you want my belt, I want you to say you want it. We are ready. We will have a new king. I want José’s head”, said the American.

Cejudo, however, finds himself in a complicated situation. The athlete, who always makes a point of showing off his titles, may soon suffer a loss. With the clear desire to act more among the bantamweights than the flyweights, Ultimate may force the athlete to give up one of his titles and, it seems, the flyweight title will be left behind.

According to UFC president Dana White, Henry should face the number one flyweight in his next fight. The opponent, in this case, is Joseph Benavidez, who got the right to be the challenger after beating the Brazilian Jussier formiga in direct confrontation for a place at the front of the category. However, in the same interview, Cejudo speaks with more excitement about working again in the top division and facing the 'People's Champion'.

"José Aldo It's a legend. I looked up to him when I was younger, but now I want to show him that I'm the king. To fight in the flyweight division, I was the one who should make weight. I need to talk to my agent, Ali (Abdelaziz) and Dana White, because I like money too”, said the champion.

The official hunt for the sport's legends began when Cejudo crashed Marlon moraes in the fight for the bantamweight title. After defeating Moraes, the North American, still in the octagon, asked for fights against athletes like Dominick Cruz e Urijah faber. Even though it may sound arrogant to some people, the champion always shows respect for the achievements of the men he challenges.

Olympic champion, Cejudo has, little by little, built a solid career and proved that he can speak and deliver on his promises.

Henry debuted in MMA in 2013. In total, the fighter had 15 professional fights, winning 13 and being defeated on two occasions; one of them, for the former champion Demetrious Johnson and the other precisely for Benavidez, who could be his next rival in the flyweight fight.
