Having been away from fights for over a year due to injuries, the athlete was selected to face Irene aldana on one of the most important cards of the year. The Brazilian will exchange forces with the Mexican in the UFC 245, which takes place on December 14, in Las Vegas (USA). Vieira's return puts the Brazilian back towards her dream of becoming champion of the division that is currently dominated by her compatriot Amanda nunes. The Amazon native is coming off a perfect series in her career and doesn't know the taste of defeat.

In the UFC, Ketlen has made four appearances so far. In her last fight, the fighter won a great victory over the experienced Zingano cat, which placed it in third place in the category ranking.

The duel against Aldana will be tough, as, in addition to facing an opponent who is fighting to be at the top of the division (she is currently in eighth place), the Brazilian will also share the octagon with an opponent who remained very active in the year 2019.
