The Brazilian also spoke about her preparation for this weekend's duel. According to Ribas, everything went as planned and his physical condition is in the best possible shape to face Dern.

“My preparation was one of the best possible. I started there in my city, Varginha (MG), and came here to Florida (USA), to the American Top Team to be able to improve tactically with sensei Parrumpinha, with Anderson França, and with my father too, who came along. The camp was wonderful and I’m grateful to be here,” she commented.

“For this fight I prepared my muay thai, my boxing, my mind, my jiu-jitsu, my wrestling, my judo, I'm prepared for whatever comes. I know this is a catchphrase that all fighters say, but I really dedicated myself 100% to all my training, my diet, my physical preparation, and I see that it's going to be a very good fight. She is a very experienced, very good athlete. I hope it will be a great fight for everyone to give a standing ovation, which I think is the most exciting thing,” said the fighter.

I don't look much at nationality. I look at my opponent, who is there with the aim of winning too. But I really want this victory. I have to beat her to reach my goal”, concluded the Brazilian.

This weekend, Amanda will complete her ninth fight since debuting as a professional in MMA. The athlete currently has only one defeat on her resume, which occurred in 2015.
