Marcelo Guimarães, from Espírito Santo, who had agreed to go to Ultimate, in March, already has a date and opponent set for his UFC debut. The Brazilian debuts in the largest MMA organization in the world against North American Dan Stittgen at UFC on Fuel TV 4, an event scheduled to take place on July 11th, in San Jose, in the United States.
With an undefeated career in MMA, with seven wins and one draw, Marcelo Guimarães won the UFC middleweight belt. Jungle Fight, but decided to move down a category to debut in Ultimate. In his last fight, Magrão, as he is known, defeated Lucas Rota in the Jungle Fight 31, held in August 2011.
Stittgen has a professional record of seven wins and two losses. In his last fight, precisely in his UFC debut, the North American lost to his compatriot Stephen Thompson by knockout in the first round.
