VIDEO: Michel Pereira lives up to his nickname 'Flying Paraense' and performs somersault at UFC Vancouver weigh-ins

Michael Pereira suffered at the official weigh-in UFC Vancouver, this Friday morning (13), when he was around 450g above the welterweight limit (up to 77.1 kg.). But at the ceremonial weigh-in, this evening, the 'Flying Paraense' lived up to his nickname. The Brazilian got on stage, did a backflip as he got off the scale, almost fell, but received lots of applause (see the video below).

The unusual moment caught so much attention that his rival, Tristan connelly, the Brazilian was surprised.

At the time of the traditional face-off, Michel approached Connelly and the fighters posed for photos with their fists raised and smiles on their faces.

Cerrone x Gaethje

Protagonists of the main fight, Donald Cerrone and Justin Gaethje also did some light staring. The 'Cowboy' arrived on stage and extended his hand to Gaethje. The 'Highlight' returned the greeting, but was clearly embarrassed.

At the time of the traditional face-off, Cerrone smiled, but his rival did not return the kindness. However, Donald was not intimidated and placed his hands on his rival's shoulder. Gaethje smiled and the atmosphere remained very friendly.
