One of the most popular athletes in the history of Ultimate appears to have finally regained his taste for combat. After returning to professional fights, ending a three-year career break, Nate diaz, which hit Anthony Pettis, at UFC 241, in August, published an image in which he appears sweaty and apparently tired after training. After his last commitment, the fighter revealed his desire to face his compatriot, Jorge masvidal.

The fighter, who is known for his quality jiu-jitsu, in addition to his quality foot combinations, seemed to sharpen one of his main weapons, which was instrumental in the beginning of his victory over Conor McGregor in the first meeting between the two.
It is not convenient to state 100% what Nate's next steps will be, who, like his brother, Nick Diaz, seems to carry with it its own manual of conduct in the world of mixed martial arts. Although, many times, both do not fit into the company's standards, the 'bad boy' style of the fighters pleases a large part of the public, who are always eager to see them in the octagon.
In the published image, Nate did not add a caption, but it is possible to understand that the fighter is maintaining his shape, even without a fight scheduled. When he beat Pettis, at a time when many people imagined that the athlete might feel a lack of rhythm, Nate explained to MMA enthusiasts that, even though he was away from professional combat, he never stopped training.
Before UFC 241, his last commitment was against the Irishman Conor McGregor, in August 2016, representing a rematch of a duel that took place in March of the same year. On that occasion, Diaz was defeated by the judges' unanimous decision, leaving the score tied at 1-1.
Some fans would like to see a third fight between the North American and the 'notorious', but Nate made it clear that his preference is to face Jorge masvidal, who is coming off a big win over Ben Askren, which gave the UFC newcomer the fastest knockout in the organization's history.
Masvidal has already accepted the commitment. Now, the UFC is working to find the best date to allocate the duel.
