China has its first UFC champion. At flyweight (up to 57.1 kg.) Weili Zhang surprised the world and did not take notice of the Brazilian Jessica Stacker. In the main fight of UFC Shenzhen, held this Saturday morning (31), the Chinese achieved a devastating knockout, in just 42 seconds, to take the title from the Brazilian athlete.

With the result, Zhang, who lost in MMA only in his professional debut, reaches the 20th victory in his career. On the other hand, Jéssica loses the belt she had won in May. With this, Brazil is left with only the belts of Amanda nunes in bantamweight (up to 61.2 kg.) and featherweight (up to 65.7 kg.) in the women's category.
Still on the main card, in the second most important fight of the show, China beat Brazil again. The welterweight li jingliang derrotou Elizeu Capoeira by technical knockout in the third round.
Zhang runs over Jéssica Bate-Estaca in 42 seconds
With the support of 'the biggest crowd in the world', Zhang started the fight by kicking Jéssica's base. Known for her strength within the division, the Brazilian fired strong open crosses that went empty. The Chinese took advantage of the moment and connected with a good strike. Afterwards, Bate-Estaca looked for the clinch in search of a takedown, but received hard elbows to the head and knees to the face.
The Paraná native still managed to get out of the clinch, but Zhang, sensing the opportunity to end the fight, walked forward throwing punches until Jéssica fell to the ground, knocked out.
Capoeira is knocked out and ends a series of triumphs
The seven-game winning streak Elizeu Capoeira is closed. In the second most important fight at UFC Shenzhen, the Brazilian was unable to face li jingliang. The man from Paraná even landed some good blows at the beginning of the fight, but at the end of the first round he received a hard counterattack and was knocked down, being saved by the bell.
From the second round onwards, Jingliang took control of the fight. Capoeira had difficulty finding distance and threw several punches into space, leaving space for the Chinese to counterattack.
In the third round, with the victory going to his rival, Elizeu opened up and was severely knocked out. li jingliang he landed a hard uppercut, which took the Tupiniquim athlete to the canvas. He still tried to get up, but was hit again and the referee was forced to end the dispute.
