The Brazilian Chris Cyborg is close to announcing where it will fight in the coming years. Out of the UFC since completing her last contract fight in July, the athlete stated that she will reveal her future in less than a month and spoke again about Amanda, who, according to the Curitiba native, she still wants to face. The statements were recently made on his official 'YouTube' account.

“Who knows?” Cris replied about the possibility of exchanging forces with Nunes again. “Maybe if we met somewhere else. Of course, I want the fight, but if it doesn't happen now, I believe it will happen in God's time”, declared the Brazilian.

One of the factors that made it impossible to renew the contract between Cris and the UFC was his troubled relationship with the president of Ultimate, Dana White. The boss is accused by the Curitiba native of having tried to tarnish her image in the public, in addition to having bullied the martial artist in the past, comparing her to the former champion of the extinct 'Pride', Wanderlei Silva, and insinuating that Cyborg would have a penis.

“Everyone knows that my relationship with Dana White was not healthy for anyone. It became personal. When this happens, the best thing is to calm down and move on”, commented the fighter.

In her last engagement, Cyborg faced the former Invicta FC champion, Felícia Spencer, and emerged victorious by unanimous decision from the judges, in the fight that represented the co-main fight of UFC 240. After winning, Dana stated that she would try everything for the Curitiba native to sign a contract so that she could promote the rematch between the athlete and Amanda nunes, to whom he had lost his belt in December of last year.

The negotiations, however, were not successful and Cris was free to negotiate with another organization. Some companies like Bellator and the PFL have shown interest in having the fighter, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

“I think I should sign my new contract in less than 30 days. I'll be online to tell everyone about my new place, where Cyborg will be welcome. I have to thank Dana for sending me a letter two days after my last win. This, in fact, helped me make my decision”, concluded the athlete.

Cris, 34 years old, is considered one of the most feared female athletes in the history of MMA. In 23 professional fights, the Brazilian came out victorious in 20, losing two and having one fight without result.
