Spider, who hasn't fought since May, when he injured his leg in the fight against Jared Cannonier, UFC 237, in Rio de Janeiro, revealed to a fan that he will undergo knee surgery before competing again.

Through his Instagram account, Anderson responded to a fan, who questioned whether he was physically well enough to fight again.
“I have a knee operation. I must return next year to finish the contract. I have two more fights on my UFC contract,” Silva wrote on his social media account.
