One of the most exciting cards of the year is about to happen. This Saturday (17), the city of Anaheim, in the United States, will host big names in MMA such as Daniel Cormier, Stipe Miocic, Yoel romero; in addition to Brazilians, Paulo borrachinha e Raphael Assunção, who represent the Tupiniquim flag at UFC 241. In addition to the heavyweight title fight, the event also brings the return of Nate diaz to the octagon, against Anthony Pettis. The main fight marks the rematch between former heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic the current title holder, Daniel Cormier. The athletes face each other just over a year after their first meeting, which saw DC knock out his compatriot in the first round of combat.
On the main card, there is also the anticipation of being able to watch the return of Nate diaz to the Octagon, three years after his last confrontation. The North American will face the former lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg), Anthony Pettis, in the light heavyweight division (up to 77kg.).
Another awaited clash is the meeting between the former middleweight title challenger (up to 83,9kg.), Yoel romero and the Brazilian Paulo borrachinha. The clashes between the two have already been promoted on two occasions, but each time it was cancelled.
On the preliminary card, the Pernambuco native Raphael Assunção tries to recover from the defeat suffered by his compatriot, Marlon moraes, in February this year. The athlete faces the North American Cory Sandhagen, in the rooster division (up to 61,2kg.).
