One of the biggest names in MMA today has become involved in a new mess. The former UFC featherweight (up to 65,7kg) and lightweight (up to 70,3kg) champion, Conor McGregor was recorded assaulting a man in a bar Ireland. On this occasion, the 'Notorious' appears punching a man who, apparently, refuses to take a dose of his brand of whiskey. The video was recently released by 'TMZ Sports' and, according to the website, the case took place in April this year.

In the scene available on the internet, it is not possible to hear what people were talking about before the chaos. In the images it is possible to see Conor arriving at the bar and serving a few doses of the whiskey of which the athlete owns the brand. According to information, the Irishman, upon realizing that the citizen did not agree to drink the dose, threw a left punch to the victim's face (who did not retaliate) and, shortly afterwards, was restrained by people present at the scene.
McGregor is, undeniably, a talent in the world of mixed martial arts. However, recently, his name has been talked about more in light of his actions outside the octagon. The athlete, who was the first in UFC history to win two belts in different categories, has been involved in confusion that does not match the way an athlete leads his life.
The last time he fought professionally was in October last year, when he entered the octagon to face the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov. On that occasion, the Irishman was dominated for four rounds until he was finished by rear naked choke. Before that, the fighter had fought against the then lightweight champion, Eddie Alvarez and removed his opponent's belt.
Famous for promoting his fights very well, due to his sharp tongue and great ability to put on great fights, McGregor, today, is still a big name in Ultimate. The fighter is a kind of 'golden coupon' that the company always bets on to achieve great sales of its cards.
Currently, according to information from Ultimate's president, Dana White, McGregor is awaiting the results of the UFC 242, in which his eternal rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov (linear champion), face Dustin poirier (interim title holder) to find out what your next step is in your career.
The Irishman, at 31 years old, has 25 fights in his professional record, with 21 wins and four defeats.
