With a fight scheduled against Cheick Kongo, at UFC 149, the Brazilian Rodrigo Minotauro You have a new appointment on your calendar. The heavyweight was confirmed, this Thursday (3), in the “Dança dos Famosos” section, on the program “Domingão do Faustão”, on Rede Globo.
Minotaur, who in his last fight against Frank mir, in December, he suffered a serious arm injury, he is not worried about the excessive commitments between training for his return and rehearsals for the program. The fighter doesn't hide his happiness at participating in the picture, but says that dancing will be more difficult than an MMA fight.
“I was very happy and at the same time surprised by the invitation. I'm ready for the challenge. I have always watched the painting and admired the people who participate. You have to be a warrior and have courage. I think it will be more difficult than facing an opponent in the ring.”
The premiere of “Dança dos Famosos 2012” is scheduled to take place on May 13th at “Domingão do Faustão”. Minotauro's return to the octagon will be at UFC 149, an event that takes place on July 21, in Calgary, Canada.
