Hector Lombard: “I want to test myself against Anderson Silva

The cubed Hector Lombard He agreed to move to the UFC last week and is already thinking about big challenges in his new home. The fighter, who abandoned the Bellator middleweight belt, does not hide his desire to fight for the Ultimate title. In an interview with the North American website MMA Weekly, Lombard stated that he wants to fight Anderson Silva soon.

“I've always wanted to fight in the UFC throughout my career, I want to be middleweight champion and I have to fight Anderson Silva”, stated Hector, who does not hide his admiration for the Brazilian athlete. “I respect him as a fighter, it would be an honor and a dream come true to test my skills against his,” added Lombard.

At 34 years old and undefeated for 25 fights, Hector, who trains at American Top Team, wants to be Ultimate champion and become the first Cuban to succeed in the most famous octagon in the world.
