BJ Penn considers changing categories if he beats Sean Sherk

Known as one of the greatest talents in MMA, but without establishing himself in any category, B.J. Penn, in an interview with the Fight Line website, once again states that he may change categories after his fight against Sean Sherk, this Saturday, at UFC-84, in a fight valid for the lightweight title.

For the “Prodigy”, if he defeats Sherk, he will have to move up to the welterweight division, as he will not have the motivation to defend the title against the winner of Roger Huerta and Kenny Florian.

“Honestly, if I destroy Sherk one round, I'll really have no motivation to fight Florian or Huerta. No matter what they say, it would be difficult for me. A fight with Matt hugs it would be great in Hawaii, but a fight with St. Pierre, which would be great for the world”, said the champion.
