Former UFC fighter Jason Miller is sentenced to one year in prison for vandalism

The athlete received the punishment as a result of breaking a table at his ex-girlfriend's house and violating a restraining order

Former UFC and Strikeforce athlete Jason Miller, 38, was sentenced by the Orange County court (USA) to one year in prison as a result of breaking a marble table in his ex-girlfriend's house, in addition to raping a restraining order. The information was released on the website 'BJPENN.com' this Friday afternoon (19).

The incident that led to Jason's conviction took place in October last year. On that occasion, in addition to breaking the table, Miller also made several holes in the walls of the residence, in addition to destroying doors and damaging the garage door, according to reports from the case's prosecutors.

This is not the first time that the former fighter has been involved in police headlines. In early 2018, Jason was detained wearing a bulletproof vest, as well as several weapons, such as swords, daggers and replica firearms.

As a fighter

Jason worked as an MMA professional between 1998 and 2016. The American played for the UFC three times and throughout his career faced names like Michael Bisping, Ronaldo Jacare, Robbie Lawler, Chael Sonnen and Georges St-Pierre. In his 18-year career, Miller won 28 victories, 10 defeats and one unsuccessful fight, totaling 39 appearances.
