With the confirmation of the change in combat between Anderson Silva e Chael Sonnen for UFC 148, in Las Vegas, Brazil will not be without a title fight. UFC 147, an event that will take place on June 23rd, with no location yet defined, will feature a featherweight division José Aldo as the main attraction. The Nova União athlete will put his title on the line for the second consecutive time in Brazil.

Despite not yet having a defined opponent, Aldo was scheduled to fight at UFC 149, on July 21, in Canada. However, this defense must be anticipated for Brazil.

In his last performance, in January this year, José Aldo successfully defended his category belt in UFC 142, in Rio de Janeiro. The Nova União athlete knocked out Chad Mendes at the end of the first round and celebrated the victory with the fans present at the HSBC Arena.

      As you can see, the news is old. At the time, UFC president Dana White came to Brazil and stated that Jose Aldo would be the main attraction. However, the agreement was not made and Aldo's fight will be at UFC 149
