In the hunt for Amanda Nunes, Germaine de Radaime faces Aspen Ladd this Saturday

Ultimate arrives, this Saturday (13), in Sacramento (USA), capital of California, for another edition of UFC Fight Night. In total, 24 athletes will perform in 12 fights, which will be shown to MMA lovers. Five Brazilian athletes are scheduled to perform at the event.

In the main fight of the night, former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg.) Germaine de Radaime will face the promising Aspen ladd, in a fight that could accredit the winner as the next challenger for the bantamweight title (up to 61,2kg.), which currently belongs to the Brazilian Amanda nunes.

In addition to the main stars, the event will also be marked by the return of Urijah faber to MMA after canceling his retirement and deciding to return to professional fights. The 'California Boy' will put on the gloves again in the co-main fight of the night and will face, at 40 years old, an opponent 14 years younger: Ricky simon.

Brazil was not left out of the North American card. In total, five athletes will represent the Tupiniquin lands in disputes on the main and preliminary cards; between them Cezar Mutant, Wellington Turman e Livinha Souza.

After putting an end to his retirement and confirming his return to the UFC after more than two years, Urijah faber was scheduled to play at UFC Sacramento with an opponent 14 years younger. With extensive experience in mixed martial arts, Faber, who has faced renowned athletes such as Dominick Cruz, Frankie Edgar, in addition to Brazilians Renan Barao e José Aldo, the North American lives with the expectation of being able to prove to the world that he can still perform at a high level.

His opponent, currently 15th in the bantamweight rankings, is looking for his ninth consecutive victory and could see the victory over Urijah as a great opportunity to boost his career and gain more visibility within the company.

Brazilians on the card

Among the five Brazilians who will step into the Octagon in Sacramento, Wellington Turman will make his Ultimate debut in style. The Brazilian will face Karl Robertson in the second fight of the preliminary card. Turman is on a four-fight winning streak and is looking to increase his number and begin his journey towards the top of the middleweight division.

Cezar Mutant will open the main card of the event in the fight against Marvin vettori. Coming from defeat for the young Ian Heinisch, which took place in November last year, the Brazilian will try, once again, to recover within the organization and once again seek his place in the middleweight elite.

On the preliminary card, the athlete from Brazil, John allan, will also make his debut within Ultimate. With 13 wins and five losses in his professional record, the 26-year-old from Curitiba is looking to make his UFC debut on the right foot against American Mike Rodriguez, who is coming off a victory over Adam Milstead in December last year.

The athlete from São Gonçalo (RJ), Sheymon Moraes, will try to erase his last performance against Sodiq Yusuf, when he was defeated by unanimous decision of the judges, in March of this year. This time, the Brazilian will face the North American André Fili, who fights ‘at home’, and will seek his 12th victory in his career. Fili is coming off a victory over Myles Jury, in a duel that took place in February this year.

Livinha Souza This Saturday, he will have his third fight since signing a contract with the company. The fighter will face Brianna Van Buren in the fight that represents the second fight of the night. If she wins, the athlete will remain undefeated in Ultimate and will have her 14th career triumph which, to date, only has one setback.

The preliminary card of the event starts at 18pm (Brasília time) and the main card is scheduled to start at 21pm (Brasília time).
