Amanda nunes I could not be happier. Champion of two categories in the UFC, the athlete won her fourth belt defense after beating Holly holm by knockout UFC 239, which took place this Saturday (6). After the triumph, the Brazilian sent a message of support and encouragement to women who want to enter the sport. The speech was given at the press conference that took place after the event.

“I'm very happy with my life. My journey so far is really cool to see. The message I would like to give to girls who want to join MMA is to never stop believing in yourself. Find a good gym so this can be done correctly”, declared Nunes.
The press professionals present at the venue insisted a few times on knowing which opponent the Brazilian would like to face in her next match. Although Dana, moments before the interview with the 'Lione', stated that she would like to promote another clash between her (Amanda) and Chris Cyborg, whom she defeated in December last year in a duel valid for the featherweight belt (up to 65,7kg), the Bahian didn't want to give any clues about her next move.
“Tonight is my night, you know? I just want to enjoy it. I'm only thinking about myself now. I am really happy. Me, my coaches and my family are very happy at this moment and I just want to think about myself. I thank everyone who always believed in me”, said the Pojucana.
The victory over Holm not only marked the fourth defense of the 'Leoa's' belt, but also sealed the victory over the last former champion of the bantamweight category (up to 61,2kg.) that was left for the Bahian to beat. Furthermore, the triumph over Holly represented the first knockout suffered by the American since she joined MMA in 2011.
