The two main fights of UFC 29, which will be held this Saturday (6), in Las Vegas (USA) and will be valid for Ultimate belts, were confirmed this Friday afternoon (5). During the official weigh-in for this weekend's event, all 24 athletes made weight and confirmed their fights, including: Jon Jones, light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg.), Thiago Marreta, title challenger; Amanda nunes, owner of the bantamweight belt (up to 61,2kg.) and Holly holm.

The athletes did not have any major problems when checking the official weights for each division. Just 24 minutes after counting began, only two athletes had not presented themselves for the weigh-in and official photos for the press. The challenger for the bantamweight belt, Holly holm, and the Brazilian Claudia Gadelha they were the last fighters to present themselves to the inspectors.
One of the protagonists of this Saturday night, the champion Jon Jones He showed great humor when stepping on the scale. The athlete was very smiling and showed off his muscles similar to what bodybuilders do in their presentations. After getting off the equipment, Jones even rehearsed a little dance, eliciting laughter from the audience present. When counting, 'Bones' weighed exactly 93kg, placing him at the exact limit of the division.
More serious and with his inseparable sunglasses, Thiago Marreta he also fulfilled his obligation with Ultimate and secured himself in the duel against the North American. Marreta weighed 92,8kg, 200g less than his opponent. After checking his weight, the athlete was applauded by his team present at the scene.
The bantamweight champion, Amanda nunes, he had to take off all his clothes to be able to guarantee the limit of his division and make the fight for his belt valid. The 'Lioness' arrived early at the scene and managed to weigh exactly 61,2kg.
The Brazilian's opponent, Holly holm, was around 600g lighter than the Bahian and also confirmed her presence in the co-main fight of the night.
O UFC 239 will present the public with 12 clashes, the last two of which will be valid for company belts.
